1. Smart Scan Conversion

Use TwinPact100 to scan convert on-screen graphics to analog and digital video.  TwinPact100 supports scan conversion of resolutions up to 1600 x 1200.

Scan convert any selected on-screen area with Canopus Track and Zoom Technology.  Track, zoom-in and output to video any application window, any desktop area or dynamically track the area around the mouse pointer.  Track and Zoom is ideal for sharper video presentations and creating focused tutorial videos.

TwinPact100 includes an infrared remote control unit as well as Windows and Mac OS controller software which feature:

> Input select (RGB, DV, analog) select
> Brightness, contrast, saturation and sharpness control
> Flicker filter switch
> Overscan / underscan switch
> Test pattern output

2. Digital Video Capture of On-screen Graphics

When used with an OHCI (FireWire) equipped computer, TwinPact100 can capture any selected on-screen graphics to smooth, high-quality DV. Unique selective scan conversion and capture-to-DV makes TwinPact100 an ideal choice for computer training video production or archiving web and DVD video to DV.

3. Bi-directional Analog / Digital Video Conversion

TwinPact100 is an extremely high-quality, bi-directional analog / digital video converter.  TwinPact100 will convert VHS, S-VHS and Hi8 analog videotapes to DV and back in one simple step and can be used with virtually any Windows or Mac OS video editing system, or as a stand-alone converter without needing a computer.

At the heart of the TwinPact100 is Canopus 's proprietary DV codec chip providing the industry's best picture quality preservation during analog-to-DV and DV-to-analog conversion.

> Clean and Enhance Analog Video
TwinPact100 employs advanced 3D Y/C separation and 3D noise reduction  functions for enhancing analog video quality. Poor analog source video is filtered prior to DV conversion to provide better quality video.

> Advanced Image Enhancement Features

- 2D/3D Y/C separation – Separates the Y/C (S-Video) signal to RGB using chronological information between signals (applicable for NTSC only)

- Digital 3D noise reduction – Eliminates noise in the analog video signal by detecting noise based on the characteristics

- Digital Auto Gain Control (AGC) – Automatically adjusts the input video level for a clearer picture

> Locked Audio Support
Other converters can lose audio/video sync when converting longer segments of video. TwinPact100 supports locked audio when converting from analog to digital, assuring perfect audio and video synchronization.
