The most popular RS-422 deck control cable/converter, compatible with all NLE applications with built-in RS-422 protocol: Avid, Speed Razor, Incite, United Media Online Express.
The RS-2/3 includes the RS232-422 conversion electronics and 10' cable in one piece. Compatible with standard RS-232 computer communication ports and devices (usually VTRs) compliant with RS-422 communication and device control protocol (also sometimes called "Sony 9-pin").
The RS-2/3 features a 9-pin D female connector for the PC end and a 9-pin D male connector for the VTR end. Housed inside a standard 9-pin backshell, the RS-2/3 electronics require no separate power supply.
