• Avid Project and Bin Sharing. EditShare is the only non-Avid shared storage solution that supports Avid Project and Bin Sharing.

• Mixed Environments. EditShare is compatible with most popular NLEs - Apple Final Cut Pro, Avid, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canopus EDIUS, Sony Vegas - and compositing applications such as Adobe After Effects and Autodesk Combustion.

• Affordable. There are no per-seat license fees with EditShare. Plus, with EditShare's standard Gigabit Ethernet solutions, there's no need for expensive fibre channel cards, cables and switches. Think GigE is slow? Think again. With EditShare, you can edit uncompressed SD in real time without any slowdowns.

• Powerful. EditShare's file-level sharing gives multiple users the ability to safely digitize and read/write to the same volume at the same time. Collaborative work with EditShare is much easier than with a SAN that only does volume-level sharing.

• Expandable. A single system can be designed as large as 20TB. In addition, EditShare's new highly-scalable architecture allows multiple EditShare units to be installed on the same network, and then coordinates the units so they can be accessed easily by editors and administrators as if there were just a single server. This means that EditShare is able to scale to storage sizes of 100TB, 200TB, and beyond, while still maintaining all the simplicity and convenience of a smaller NAS.

• Flexible Formats. EditShare supports 15:1 and 20:1 as well as online resolutions such as DV25, DV50, DVCPRO100, 3:1, 2:1, 1:1 and all flavors of Avid DNxHD.

• Support for Uncompressed HD. EditShare supports uncompressed HD with the addition of 10 Gigabit Ethernet. With EditShare, editors can finish uncompressed HD projects on the same NAS storage they use for lower resolution editing.
